Hi! For those of you who don’t know me (…yet), my name is Lina. I’m originally from Montreal, but I have been living in New York City (love!) for the past 2 years. I just graduated from medical school and decided to take a year to focus on research before I tackle residency! Having devoted myself to a career that is always giving back to others, I’ve decided to start this blog as a personal hobby to create some “me time.” I hope you guys will enjoy all it has to offer — although you’ll have to bare with me as I get used to designing my own website… definitely not my forté!

If you’re curious about the name whitecoatdreams… it represents my dreams as a doctor, the white coat being my formal attire. Apart from my first true love — medicine, I have a sincere passion for pretty clothes and purses, I love experimenting with new makeup, I enjoy cooking and I adore admiring interior decors. As a medical student, I would often take “study breaks” to peruse blogs and allow myself to drift away from my textbooks, if only for a few minutes. If anything, I hope my blog will be able to provide the same experience for you.
